ANTI-MIST COUNTERMEASURE AND FACILITY FOR ROADWAY

PURPOSE: To prevent intrusion of mist by installing an airtight panel along each side of a roadway, and forming an air curtain in the area between the two panels when mist is generated. ;CONSTITUTION: When mist is generated, a drive motor is started, and external air compressed by a blower 6 is supplied to a duct 5 via a wind sending pipe 8 and distribution pipe 9. The compressed air is spouted from a nozzle 10 to over the central part of the road so that an air curtain is generated, and the area over the road space Y is shielded from the external air. Thereby the road space is shielded with the air curtain and a wind panel 3, and thereby external air containing mist is precluded from intruding to the space.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
