AUTOMOTIVE FUEL CONTAINING GRANITE PORPHYRY, PRODUCTION THEREOF, AND AUTOMOTIVE FUEL ADDITIVE

PURPOSE: To improve fuel efficiency and heighten the cleanliness of exhaust gas by adding fine particles of granite porphyry to an automotive fuel. ;CONSTITUTION: Fine particles of granite porphyry having a size of 3μm or smaller are added to a fuel in an amount of 20-0.5g per liter of the fuel. For example, the particles are mixed with an automotive fuel stored in a tank, and an excess of the particles is allowed to settle. The fuel containing a finer portion of the particles dispersed therein is filtered through a filter having an opening size of 3μm or finer. Thus, the objective fuel is obtained which, when fed to an engine, neither clogs the fuel strainer nor damage the engine or fuel injection system. The fuel does not form a sediment even when kept within the fuel tank of an automobile. Compared to a conventional automotive fuel containing only eluted components of the stone, this fuel has a higher combustion efficiency because components of the stone are burned together with the fuel without fail.
