PRODUCTION OF ALOE JUICE BEVERAGE

PURPOSE: To produce an aloe juice beverage by drying the mesophyll of aloe and cutting it into small pieces or squeezing the mesophyll of aloe and powdering the resultant aloe extract in advance and using the obtained small- piece dried mesophyll of aloe or powdery aloe extract. ;CONSTITUTION: Small-piece dried mesophyll of aloe or powdered aloe extract is soaked in water or hot water and the resultant viscous liquid having a relatively low viscosity is heated and boiled. Suspended matters and precipitates generated in the heat treatment are removed by a filtration method, etc., and the resultant liquid is subjected to heat sterilization, thus producing the objective aloe juice. Since the dried mesohyll or the powdery aloe extract is used, the aloe juice beverage having a uniform composition over the whole year can be produced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
