DEVICE FOR PROTECTING TEMP. RISE IN AUDIO DEVICE

PURPOSE: To evade the unstable operation in the vicinity of an allowable value by stopping main operation when such a state that an internal temp. of a prescribed value or above continues for a certain time, and restoring the operation when such a state that the temp. of a prescribed value or below continues for a certain time. ;CONSTITUTION: The temp. detected by a temp. detection circuit 2 is fetched into a micro computer 1 through an input port 11, and a CPU 12 operates a program stored in a ROM 13. When the detected temp. is a reference temp. or above, a timer is actuated for 30 seconds, and when the temp. is continuously raised during the period, the reproducing operation is stopped, and a present value of an electronic volume 3 is stored in a RAM 14. Then, when the temp. is lowered to the reference value or below, a timer is actuated for 15 minutes, and when the temp. is continuously lowered during the period, a disk device is made a reproducing state, and the value of the volume 3 is set to the value lower than the value stored in the RAM 14 and before arriving at the temp. rise by 10dB, and the temp. rise state is released, and the reproducing is restarted.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
