PURPOSE: To obtain a snow producing nozzle of an artificial-snow spray machine, where water is turned into a film-like flow with an extremely simple construction, and pressurized air is flowed in the direction perpendicularly intersecting the plane of the film-like water flow to efficiently atomize water. ;CONSTITUTION: In an artificial-snow spray machine with a snow producing nozzle 10, pressurized water and air are supplied into the nozzle 10 to mix up them, water atomized by the adiabatic expansion of air is cooled and the atomized water and air are spouted from the tip of the nozzle 10 to produce artificial snow. Circular rings 14 are situated at around a position in the nozzle 10, where pressurized water 11 and pressurized aim 12 mix up, and two or more water jet. holes 17 that spout water are provided out the periphery of the circular rings 14. The pressurized water 11 is spouted from the water jet holes 17 to let the water strike on the circumferences of the circular rings 14, so that water films are formed on both side of the circular rings 14. The pressurized air 13 is flowed to the water films to transform time water films to atomized water (water droplets) and the atomized water is spouted from the tip of the nozzle 10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
