METHOD FOR JUDGING DETERIORATION OF SOLUTION SUCH AS BRINE AND METAL ION, AND JUDGING AGENT USED IN THE METHOD

PURPOSE: To judge the deterioration of solution such as brine readily on-site. ;CONSTITUTION: The judging agent is added to a brine or solutions other than brine, such as lubricating oil, cleaning agent, waste liquid of industry and foodstuff productions or the like. The judging agent selectively reacts with metal ions in the liquid, and insoluble suspension material is produced. The kinds and the concentrations of the contained metal ions are simply measured based on color change and the deterioration is judged. As the judging agent, the main component consisting of one among dithiocarbamates, thioureas, thiazoles, triazoles, sodium dimethyldithion carbonates and the like or a blend of several of them, a stabilizing agent and water are mixed at an arbitrary rate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
