CLOCK DEVICE WITH TIME CORRECTING FUNCTION AND TIME CORRECTING METHOD

PURPOSE: To accurately operate the time correcting function by reducing the erroneous detection of time broadcasting. ;CONSTITUTION: The broadcast signal is received by a broadcast reception section 31. The received signal is fed to a specific frequency detection section 34 constituted of a tone decoder 35. The specific frequency detection section 34 detects the signal having the same frequency as that of the forecast sound signal of the time broadcasting signal. The detected output of the specific frequency detection section 34 is fed to a microcomputer 37 constituted of a time broadcasting coincidence detection section, a time correction section, a clock section, and a timer section. The time broadcasting coincidence detection section detects whether the received signal is the time broadcasting signal or not.
