SILICON COMPOUND HAVING 1,4-DISILACYCLOHEXA-2,5-DIENE RING AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE: To obtain a new silicon compound having 1,4-disilacyclohexa-2,5-diene ring and useful for heat-resistant material, photo-resist, silicon carbide-based preceramics, etc. ;CONSTITUTION: This silicon compound is expressed by formula I (R¹ and R² each is a univalent group such as an alkyl, and aralkyl and an aryl; R³ is H or a univalent group such as an alkyl, an aralkyl, an aryl and an alkoxy; R⁴ is a bivalent group having a structure obtained by removing two H atoms from an aromatic hydrocarbon, a heterocyclic hydrocarbon or an aliphatic hydrocarbon; (m) and (n) each is an integer of ≥0; m+n≥2). The compound of formula I can be produced in high efficiency by reacting a dihalotrisilane of formula II (X is a halogen) with a diyne compound of formula III in the presence of a Pd catalyst.
