SUMMARY WRITING INTERPRETING SUPPORT SYSTEM

PURPOSE: To combine and store a memorandum written by a hearing impaired person and the character information provided by a summary writing interpreter by simultaneously displaying a character string inputted from a terminal device and the contents which are graphic inputted from another terminal device. ;CONSTITUTION: In a lecture hall, a summary writing interpreter summarizes the contents of the lecturer's speach and inputs them to a terminal device 1 through a keyboard 11 and the contents are displayed on a display device 12. At the same time, the contents are transmitted to a terminal device 2 through a communication device 13, stored and displayed on a display device 22. The hearing impairments person sees the displayed contents and writes a mark or a graphic on a graphic input device 24 for the portion which he thinks important using a pen 21. Then, the input information and the contents which are already displayed on the device 22 are combined and displayed. When the information displayed on the device 22 fills up the display region, the screen is scrolled without being instructed by a user.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
