TRAFFIC CONDITION PHOTOGRAPHING DEVICE WITH APERTURE CONTROL FUNCTION AND METHOD THEREFOR

PURPOSE: To attain quick and optimum aperture control are each of plural photographing points against difference from conditions even when the condition of the location where the photographing device is installed is largely different and to photograph a vehicle without any blurred image due to the camera shake by surely locating an illegal vehicle within the depth of field. ;CONSTITUTION: The device is provided with a violation detection means 33 discriminating the presence of violation based on a state of a traffic signal 6 when a vehicle reaches a 1st position detection means 31. Plural aperture data corresponding to each of two photographing positions on each drive lane are stored in a storage section 37 by using an input means 36 in advance at the installation of the photographing section 10. A control means 35 reads aperture data corresponding to the position of the illegal vehicle specified by the illegal vehicle position specification means 34 from the storage section 37 when the violation detection means 33 detects violation.
