PURPOSE: To provide the superplastic material having a composite structure which can be produced by simple operations, is high in accuracy of thickness control of superplastic formed goods and is applicable even to formed goods having intricate shapes and the process for production of such material and the method for controlling the thickness distribution of the superplastic formed goods by using this process. ;CONSTITUTION: This superplastic material having this composite structure has partially remelted and solidified parts and partially alloy enriched parts, by which the superplastic deformation characteristics of these parts are decreased.
