EXECUTING METHOD FOR TUYERE BRICKS FOR AOD FURNACE

PURPOSE: To reduce attribution speeds of a tuyere brick and its peripheral bricks. ;CONSTITUTION: A peripheral structure of a tuyere brick for an AOD furnace is so executed with upper and lower peripheral bricks 2, 3 that widths of the upper and lower peripheral bricks 2, 3 adjacent to the tuyere brick 1 are set larger than that of the brick 1 within twice or less of the width of the brick 1, and hence vertical joints of the upper and lower bricks 2, 3 adjacent to the tuyere brick are not engaged with the brick 1. Thus, as a result that a joint erosion under a tuyere is widely eliminated, durable number of times of this structure is increased as compared with that of prior art, thereby largely improving it.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
