PURPOSE: To retain highly the durability of intake valves by restraining the lowering of the combustion performance of a multi-cylinder engine of such a type as returning blow-by gas to an intake system. ;CONSTITUTION: Plural branching-off exit passages 6 of a blow-by gas guide passage 2 are respectively connected to plural places in the length direction of the intake branch chamber 4 of an intake manifold 3. As blow-by gas is taken into the intake branch chamber 4 in a dispersion state through the branching-off exit passages 6, the remaining oil portion of the blow-by gas can be dispersed into plural cylinders in approximate uniformity, and the lowering of the combustion performance of a multi-cylinder engine is reduced, and moreover, the durability of intake valves can be retained highly by making a carbon accumulation quantity to the intake valve of each cylinder small.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
