MACHINING METHOD AND MACHINING DEVICE FOR PIPE-LIKE MEMBER

PURPOSE: To reduce the machining processes to remarkably reduce a cost when the end part of a pipe-like member is machined. ;CONSTITUTION: A pipe 10 is held first by a center holding tool 22, and in this state the pipe is then held by an outer periphery holding tool. Then, the holding by the center holding tool 22 is released, and instead of the center holding tool 22, a cutting tool 52 is coaxially positioned to machine the inner peripheral surface of the pipe. Thus, there is no need to once machine the outer peripheral surface of the pipe 10, and thereby the machining processes are reduced, and a cost cane reduced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
