SCREW POINT IN SWEDISH TYPE SOUNDING TEST MACHING AND GROUND PROBING METHOD USING IT

PURPOSE: To shorten the drawing time of a rod and to reduce load of drawing work by making it possible to separate a screw point by connection or inserting connection with a pin fracturing at over a specific value of torque of the rod and screw point. ;CONSTITUTION: The lower end of a rod 6 is inserted in a circular hole 7a of the base of a screw point 7. Both of them are connected with a fracture pin 18 fracturing at a set torque. When they reach a subsurface, the pin 18 is broken to release the connection of the rod 6 to the screw point 7, and they are made capable of being separated. According to the constitution, the drawing time is shortened, and the screw point 7 with regular size can be always used to eliminate variations in data caused by abrasion at the time of using.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
