PURPOSE: To make it possible to accelerate the collapse of phenomenon of stored material received in the interior without any need for a mechanical device which is difficult to handle and expensive, and without the need for a great amount of labor and cost. ;CONSTITUTION: In a body 7 of a silo wherein a conical section 4 having an outlet port 3 at the lower end of a cylindrical wall 2 with its axis oriented vertically is provided and also a top wall 6 having an inlet port 5 on its upper part is provided, an operation wire 17 is provided in such a manner that the upper end thereof is connected to a drawing drive means so that the wire can be drawn upwards and the wire 17 is passed from above through a stored material 9, while the lower end thereof is suspended so as to protrude to a point lower than a level A where the bridge phenomenon of the material 9 tends to occur. A constitution is provided wherein a jig 9 for accelerating the collapse of bridge phenomenon can be attached or is attached to the portion of the wire 17 which protudes downwarly of the level A.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
