PURPOSE:To treat microorganisms, purify and reduce maintenance control of a water purifying plant by lining the inner surface of an air tight pipe with a continuous void member at which continuous voids proper for microorganisms to live in are installed at a specified ratio. CONSTITUTION:Binding agent-attached aggregates are poured into a form and cured and fixed with an inner surface of a pipe 1 where a continuous void member 2 is preliminarily prepared. The continuous void member 2 is bound with aggregates made of a granular inorganic material or granular polymer material with a composite material comprising a polymer material and a cement group inorganic material so as to install. The occupied ratio of voids 2A in the continuous void member 2 is specified to range from 15 to 40% where reinforcing fibers are mixed with the binding agent, thereby reinforcing the binding strength. When raw water is adapted to flow in a composite pipeline, a contamination material or a solvent odor material in the raw water passes freely through the voids 2A between the continuous void member 2. Then, there is formed a biological film in the voids 2A, centering on aerobic microorganisms, which supplements or destructs oxidatively the contaminated material or the odor material contained in the raw water and hence purifies the raw water.
