RUNNING-IN TRIAL METHOD FOR FLOATING SEAL IN STEAM STERILIZER

PURPOSE: To always perform the running-in trial of packing after performing the maintenance and exchange work of the packing by enabling a steam sterilizer to be operated under the condition that the introduction and suck of copressed fluid are performed alternatively for prescribed number of times in a state where a cover is closed after the packing is exchanged. ;CONSTITUTION: After the packing is exchanged, it is judged whether the cover is set in an open or closed state by a controller. When the cover is set in the closed state, the controller judges whether or not the cover is set in a state where it is tightened in step B. When the cover is tightened, it is detected whether or not the maintenance and exchange work of the packing is performed in step C. When it is judged that the maintenance and exchange work is performed, the running-in trial is performed in step D. The running-in trial is performed by alternatively repeating the supply and discharge of compressed air to a recessed groove for the prescribed number of times. After the running-in trial is completed, a mode is returned to an ordinary sequence mode after the release of the cover is confirmed in step E.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
