MASS SPECTROMETER DIRECTLY CONNECTED TO LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPH

PURPOSE: To reduce pulsating flow and base line drift at a low flow speed so as to accomplish micro quantitative analysis while using an ordinary LC system. ;CONSTITUTION: A LC pump 10 is used at a multipurpose flow speed, and then, solution is branched so that a part, of the solution is introduced. A temperature condition, for each of columns 31, 32 serving as branching means is equalized to each other by a column oven 120 or the like. In addition, a temperature controlling means controlling the temperature of the introduced sample and the temperature of a moving phase at the same temperature is provided. Therefore, inhibition due to pulsating flow and base line drift is eliminated in an ionization method requiring a low flow speed in an ordinary LC system, so that highly sensitive analysis can be carried out. In addition, noise due to a temperature difference between the sample and the moving phase is reduced, and as a result, highly sensitive microanalysis can be accomplished.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
