RATTAN MAT LINING ARTICLE REINFORCED WITH RATTAN BILL WITHOUT HOLE BORED THEREON

PURPOSE: To rationally obtain reinforced rattan mat, the quality of which is stable, by a method wherein a fluoroplastic is applied on the surface of rattan bills as the stage prior to the putting of the bills on a mat making machine. ;CONSTITUTION: As the pre-set warps of a mat making machine, thermoplastic synthetic resin-based threads, which does not damagingly change the surface of rattan skin and melt at the temperature or humid heat of 200°C or lower and have the fineness of 20-1,200 denier, are used at proper intervals. As woof, rattan bills having the width of 2.0-4.5mm, the thickness of 1.8-3.5mm and the length of 450-4,500mm are used so as to weave the bills under the condition that their widths and skins are made even in the threads in order to make rattan fabric. Then, a pre-prepared lining material, which depends upon the use application, is perfectly pasted by bonding to the rear face of the rattan fabric. After that, the warps, which are exposed on the surface of the rattan fabric are melted by applying the heat or humid heat, which is higher than the melting point of the warp, and then subjected to residual waste disposal treatment. Thus, since no hole is bored on the rattan bill, the bill is reinforced. Further, no trouble such as the cracking of the bill or the like develops, resulting in enhancing the working efficiency and economical effect of rattan material.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
