METHOD FOR DETECTING SHOT AND DEVICE FOR RECORDING/ REPRODUCING REPRESENTATIVE PICTURE

PURPOSE: To collect moving pictures in units corresponding to the contents of pictures. ;CONSTITUTION: A picture information output part 1 outputs the camera operation information of a camera with which a user operates for photographing, picture processing information obtained in processing a picked-up image or photographing state information obtained in processing a signal inputted from a sensor. A shot variation degree detecting part 2 detects the degree of variation in a picture in each input information by previously setting up changing rules specified by various information outputted from the output part 1 and comparing successively inputted information with the rules. A shot detecting part 3 detects a moving picture obtained by continuously photographing a specific subject by a photographer or a moving image continuously photographed by the photographer under a specific viewing angle, photographing condition or photographing method as one shot based upon an output from the detecting part 2 and outputs the shot section.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
