PURPOSE: To provide the production method of a silverbased inorg. antimicrobial thin film which exhibits stable antimicrobial effect in small presence, high in durability and does not cause damage of the characteristic of a base material and to provide the silverbased inorg. antimicrobial agent using this thin film. ;CONSTITUTION: This silverbased inorg. antimicrobial agent (silver-containing zirconium phosphate, silver-containing zeolite, silver-containing apatite, etc., bhown in the following) or the starting compd. which constitutes the silverbased inorg. antimicrobial agent is used as a target, and the silverbased inorg. antimicrobial thin film is formed on the surface of a prescribed base material (resin, etc., such as nylon, fiber reinforced nylon) by a high-frequency current sputtering process (the output of the high-frequency current is 200-500W), and the silverbased inorg. antimicrobial agent excellent in antimicrobial property is produced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
