PURPOSE: To efficiently and economically design an RC segment lining body as a structure receiving tension on the full section in the vertically cutting direction of a tunnel, and easily mitigate stress generated by deformation of the lining body. ;CONSTITUTION: An RC segment 10 constituting a RC segment lining body is provided with a segment skelton 12 made of reinforced concrete, three pairs of joint metal fittings 14 embedded on the front and rear end faces 20 of it, and these respective joint metal fittings 14 are connected together with connecting rods 16 buried in the segment skelton 12 under the condition in which sticking with surrounding concrete is cut off. When the RC segments 10 are continuously provided in the vertically cutting direction of a tunnel, the respective connecting rods 16, the joint metal fittings 14, and connecting bolts fastening the joint metal fittings are continuously penetrated extending over the full length in the vertically cutting direction of the RC segment lining body.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
