PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out a check boring and a core boring without causing any flood and leakage water in a shield tunnel making use of the RC segment. PSOLUTION: In the RC segment (segment 3) used for an lining of a tunnel, it is equipped with a steel-made pipe 5 having an observation hole 5a communicated with a casing (the third casing 12) of the check boring buried so as to communicate the inside and the outside of the RC segment, an injection hardware having an injection hole detachably made in the observation hole 5a held by the steel-made pipe 5, an injection hardware plug detachably made in the injection hole held by the injection hardware and reinforcing bars arranged around the steel-made pipe 5. The front end section of the casing penetrated from the ground surface is made to eat into the outer surface of the RC segment, and after grout has been injected inside of the lower end section of the casing, boring is carried out from the inside of a tunnel of the observation hole 5a to carry out the survey after the observation hole 5a has been communicated with the casing.
