PURPOSE:To obtain an agrochemical booster and agrochemical composition free from phytotoxicity to crops, safely usable and exhibiting excellent boosting action on various agrochemicals. CONSTITUTION:This agrochemical booster contains a compound of formula I [R1 and R2 are a 1-4C alkyl, group of formula II (m1 is 1-30), group of formula III (m2 is 1-30); R3 is H, a 1-4C alkyl or benzyl; R4 is group of formula IV (q1 is 0-30), NHCOR10 or group of formula V (q2 is 0-30); R5, R7, R8, R11 and R14 are H, methyl, a mixture of H methyl; R6 is an (OH-substituted) 5-35C straight or a branched-chain alkyl or alkenyl; R9, R10, R12 and R13 each is an (OH-substituted) 5-36C straight or branched-chain alkyl or alkenyl; (n) is 0-30; X- is counter ion] as an active component. The application amount of the agent can be reduced and the activity is stabilized while keeping the boosting effect of the compound by using the compound in combination with other surfactant. The compound is compounded in an amount of 0.05-50 pts.wt. especially 0.1-10 pts.wt. based on 1 pts.wt. of the agrochemical base.
