TREE SURFACE COVERING MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR MAINTAINING VIGOR OF TREE USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: To obtain a tree surface covering material capable of reducing fallen leaves after transplanting and sprinkling frequency, contriving maintenance and recovery of vigor of tree with reduced labor and a method for maintaining vigor of tree using the tree surface covering material. ;CONSTITUTION: A tree surface covering material 10 consists of at least two sheets 11 having water permeability and stretchability prepared by mutually superimposing and bonding, plural beltlike spaces 14 divided in the plane direction of the sheets 11 between the sheets 11 and a water retaining agent 15 sealed in the beltlike spaces 14. The tree surface covering material 10 is rolled around a trunk and a branch of a tree and the tree is periodically sprinkled with water to contrive maintenance and recovery of vigor of the tree.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
