PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the physical conditions of a soil such as air-ventilating property, water- holding property, etc., by a simple method for promoting the growth of a tree.;SOLUTION: This tree vigor-promoting material 1 is obtained by filling a crushed material 3 of a charcoal to the inside of a bag body 2 having many fine holes, and being formed as a slender rod state having a constant thickness. The device for imbedding the tree vigor- promoting material 4 is equipped with a striking part 7 at the inside of which the tree vigor- promoting material 1 is housed, and a vibration-generating device 9 linked with the rear end part 8 of the striking part 7 and vibrating the striking part 7 in its longitudinal direction. The method for imbedding the tree vigor-promoting material is provided by inserting the tree vigor-promoting material 1 to the inside of the striking part 7 of the device for embedding the tree vigor-promoting material 4, attaching a tip arrowhead part 13 to a tip opening part 10 of the striking part 7, thrusting the tip arrow head part 13 to the ground around a tree 5, also actuating the vibration-generating device 9 for striking the striking part 7 into the ground and then pulling out the striking part 7 by leaving the tree vigor-promoting material 1 and the tip arrow head part 13 behind to embed the tree vigor-promoting material into the ground 18.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
