METHOD FOR PROLIFERATING STERILE PLANT BY TISSUE CULTURE OF VIOLA MANDSHURICA

PURPOSE: To accomplish mass proliferation of Viola mandshurica important as an ornamental plant easily and in a relatively short period. ;CONSTITUTION: In the 1st proliferation method, the tissue of Viola mandshurica is sterilized, the resultant tissue is then cultured in an adventitious bud differentiating and inducing medium to produce adventitious buds which, in turn, are grown in a plant culture medium to obtain the objective sterile plant. In the 2nd proliferation method, callus is induced from the plant tissue sterilized in the 1st method, proliferated, and then cultured in an adventitious bud differentiating and inducing medium to produce adventitious buds which, in turn, are grown in a plant culture medium, thus obtaining the objective sterile plant.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
