DEVICE FOR PROMOTING COMFORTABLENESS IN LIVING SPACE

PURPOSE: To minimize the noise of a fan transmitted to a living space by a treating chamber in which an air duct fitted with a filter is formed from a lower position upward and in this air duct there are provided two silencers disposed in series and a means of producing a flow of air between the two silencers. ;CONSTITUTION: When a fan 25 is actuated, the air issuing thereform is conditioned by an air conditioner 26 into a quality suited to living both in temperature and humidity; then through an air duct 21 the air flows to a silencer 23 on the supply side and through the silencer 23 to a filter 22. The filter 22 removes dust, etc., contained in the return air and in the air additionally drawn in from the outside and the filtered air is sent into a living space 10 through an upper duct 12. On the other hand, the noise issuing from the fan 25 spreads inside the air duct 21 at acoustic velocity but is attenuated by the supply side silencer 23 disposed upstream and a reflux side silencer 24 and barred from reaching the living space 10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
