PURPOSE: To provide both a method for cell culture with a high productivity by which the mass transfer in a membrane bioreactor is improved to provide a uniform culture environment while eliminating the loss of cells, and an apparatus therefor. ;CONSTITUTION: This method for improving the mass transfer in a membrane bioreactor comprises circulating the first medium through at least one bioreactor having at least one semi-permeable membrane on one side and simultaneously circulating the second medium inoculated with a cell culture solution through at least the one bioreactor on the opposite side of at least the one membrane.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
