FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: claimed invention describes single-stage process for preparation of bicycle amidines from lactones and amines. The claimed invention also describes novel bicycle amidines having functional groups, more specifically amino-or aminoalkyl groups. Amidines of the claimed invention are suitable as catalysts for preparation of polyurethanes and are superior than prior art bicycle amidines in that they are strongly bonded with polyurethane. EFFECT: more efficient process for preparation of bicycle amidines as catalysts.
