In the present invention there are disclosed urethanes and ureas of the general formula I, in which Ri1 represents alkyl containing 1 to 20 carbon atoms, cycloalkyl having 3 to 6 carbon atoms or aralkyl with 7 to 15 carbon atoms, whereby each of these groups can be optionally substituted; Ria and Ri3 represent independently on each other hydrogen or optionally substituted alkyl containing 1 to 6 carbon atoms; and Ri2, Rib and Ric represent independently on each other carboxy, methyloxycarbonyl, phenyloxycarbonyl or benzyloxycarbonyl group; X represents oxygen or NH; Ri4 represents hydrogen, phenylmethoxycarbonyl or 1,1-dimethylethoxycarbonyl; whereby the substituents in the above indicated substituted groups are selected from the set comprising a halogen, OH, alkyl containing 1 to 6 carbon atoms, alkoxyl containing 1 to 6 carbon atoms, amino, mono- or dialkylamino having 1 to 6 carbon atoms in the alkyl part, carboxy, formyl and alkoxycarbonyl containing 1 to 6 carbon atoms in the alkoxy moiety, and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts and optical isomers. Claimed are also processes for preparing the above specified compounds and pharmaceutical preparations based thereon, which are suitable for inducing production of IL-6 and CSFe25 growth factors that regulate production of neutrophils on marrow of mammals.
