SUBSTANCE: claimed esters have formula I:wherein Ris hydrogen or methyl group; Ris 1-methyl-2-propenyl group, 1-methyl-2-propenyl group, 3,3-dihalogen-1-methyl-2-propenyl group of C-Calkyl group which may be substituted with at least one halogen atom; and Ris acid residue of pyrethroids. The present invention is also concerned with active agent for controlling mites comprising ester as active ingredient, with intermediate compounds for preparation of said esters, and with processes for preparation of said intermediate compounds. Esters represented by formula I are highly effective in controlling mites. EFFECT: improved properties of the composition and more efficient method for controlling mites.
