The scoop incorporates a movable grip bottom and at least three walls. Within the walls is fitted a rotatable ripping device which comprises several components (6,7,8,9) extending radially from a drive shaft (5), whose outer ends are broadened to at most half the distance between two opposing scoop walls (3,4). All are inclined in different directions relatively to the shaft. Axially separate but adjacently located components (7,8) are inclined in opposite directions and have a peripheral spacing which forms axially directed gaps between the component ends. Together the components on the shaft can come into contact with the whole width of the grid bottom (12) between the opposite scoop walls when the shaft revolves.
