The pipe break valve on the gas bottle valve pressure side is arranged in relation to the cut-off valve in the gas conduit. The main valve incorporates a second valve cage connected to a second valve seat against which it closes in the event of a sudden pressure drop in the conduit system after the pipe break valve. The first and second valve cages are movable along a common line towards their respective seats, and the second valve cage supports an extending component which projects outwards through the first valve seat when the second valve cage closes in the event of pipe break against the second valve seat. The second valve cage can be removed from its valve seat when the first cage closes against the first valve seat.
