The device, in the version shown in plate 1, consists of a rotating drum which has, formed in its internal cavity, a series of fins 6 with a rectilinear or helical longitudinal extension, while in the version shown in plate 2 the said fins 6 are mounted, preferably in a radial position, on the rotor 20. The rotating drum 7 and the rotor 20 are rotated by means of the shaft 9; this has the effect that the exhaust gas which travels and flows through the device, from the inlet duct 10 to the outlet duct 11, is made to perform a rotary movement about the axis A-A. The shaft 9 is driven by a special electric motor or directly by the internal-combustion engine or by the turbine on which the device is mounted, via suitable transmissions and drives. IMAGE
