The semi-automatic pushbutton device for allowing the use of typewriter keyboards, computer keyboards and the like by persons who have difficulty in using their upper limbs consists of an electric motor which controls displacement of a flexible cable running inside a guide sheath. The travel and the pressure which may be exerted may be adjustable and operation of the pushbutton is controlled by a switch. It may be used with the aid of a guide support which allows movements perpendicular to the plane to be performed. IMAGE
