The assembly is characterized in that it comprises the structure for supporting and moving the feed chains and the milking rollers of a row assembly for a maize harvesting head, the said feed chains and additional means of conveyance of the plants to a cutting device that are capable of being supported and moved to the position of the milking rollers.
