On the ceiling of the garage is secured lengthwise and in proper position a rectilinear guide 1, in which travels a carriage 2, connected to the branch of a belt 6, carried around pulleys 5-7 which can rotate at the ends of said guide and one of which is fitted on the slow shaft of a gearmotor with dual direction of rotation 4, secured to the same guide and connected to an electronic switchbox 10 which allows remote governing of the gearmotor by means of a remote control. The carriage 2 is linked to the ends of one or two braces 12-13-33, articulating by the other end to the leaf or leaves of the door, such that the alternating motion of said carriage causes the brace or braces to open or close the leaf or leaves, and preferably also activates and deactivates a suitable lock which locks the leaf or leaves in the closed position.
