VIBRATORY TYPE STORAGE BIN ARRANGEMENT WITH INTERNAL BAFFLING AND LOW PROFILE BOTTOM

A storage bin arriangement especially suited forreceiving, storing and discharging, in accordance with a com-bination of induced vertical flow and impelled retrieving con-cepts, bulk solid materials, in one embodiment of which essen-tially the entire bin itself is arranged for responding toa circular conveying type vibratory helical stroke movementgenerated by a pair of electric motors secured to the oppositesides of the bin in oppositely oriented positions to disposetheir respective driving shafts at opposite, typically, 4 degreeangulations with respect to the horizontal, and with each suchmotor shaft driving a pair of eccentrically oriented weights,with the bin having a low profile bottom section equipped withone or more off center located, vertically oriented, verticallyrectilinear, discharge chute arrangements and having one ormore internally applied baffles, either of inverted cone typeon one or more rows or levels of internally applied centerless,radial, sidewall mounted type, in spaced relation, above thebin low profile bottom section, and in a second embodiment,a bin actuator having the features indicated above that ismounted below a large discharge opening in a conventional sta-tionary bin, while responding to the same type of helical vi-bration to effect both material discharge from the bin freeof excess beadroom; either embodiment can also eliminate verticalspace consuming pant leg type discharge chutes, and providefor optional divided flow of the bulk solid materials therefrom.
