A gear system is used for changing the speed of a vehicle. A gear system provides a number of optional ratios of (output R.P.M)/(input R.P.M) by connecting between two gears for every option. A new system is to be designed so the R.P.M ratio can vary linearly without the need of using large number of gears, and without the need of an automatic or manual transmission. Such a gear system will make driving more convenient by eliminating the need for manual transmission in a stickshift car, or by eliminating the jolting which results from using automatic shifting. It will also improve the fuel efficiency of the vehicle by providing the most efficient combinations of R.P.M and R.B.M ratio for the desired speed.
