Particularly suitable parts of plants are rooting shoots, for example sedum shoots, which are attached to the surface of the sheet (1) of mineral wool by means of an organic adhesive (4) which contains starch and/or a suitable polymer as binder. Particularly suitable as tackifier is a waterproof acrylate binder which is permeable to air and water and which decomposes after some time when exposed to the atmosphere. The permeability of the binder is guaranteed by employing it in the foamed state.
