Device used for example for the controlled and/or accelerated cultivation of plants, of the type comprising an enclosure (1) at least partially closed by a gate (5) allowing access into said enclosure (1). In accordance with the invention, the enclosure (1) includes a dual bottom providing a cavity (10) incorporating heating means (2) which heat up the air within said cavity (10) so as to vary the temperature of the bottom face of the bottom (7) of said enclosure (1), by contact therewith, wherein said bottom (7) is covered by a water-retaining substrate (8) with high thermal capacity, such as sand, perlite, vermiculite, top soil and the like, for controlling the relative humidity as well as the temperature changes within said enclosure (1). The invention is useful for plant cultivation.
