The present invention relates to a nucleic acid molecule comprising a nucleotide sequence encoding, or complementary to a sequence encoding, an ovine cytokine-like molecule. The preferred cytokine-like molecules include recombinant IFN-η, GM-CSF, IL-1, IL-2, IL-4, TNFα and TNFβ.
