the process and apparatus described are used to treat a surface with natural stone or artificial stone material similar to (3), so as to give the surface treated with a finish pleasant appearance. a high temperature plasma jet (2), and a refrigerant at a high speed (5) are projected onto the surface to be treated.the two jets are moved on the surface of a given state, the refrigerant of the jet plasma. the speed of movement is selected so that the high temperature plasma is only a thin layer of rock or stone like material.since the fluid jet the plasma condenser is suddenly thin, barely heated by plasma to produce a thermal shock which break rock particles or material similar to the stone surface, and from the surface of particles separated by the blower.
