The connector between two pipes and/or hoses is particularly for fuel piping. It has two bosses onto each of which a pipe fits. It is in two halves forming a plug (14) and socket (12), the plug half forming a sealed joint inside the socket, in which it is secured by a detachable locking device (20). There can be an annular groove (22) inside the socket, accommodating a sealing ring (24), bearing against the outside of the inserted plug half (18).
