Use of a gel formulation (I) contg.; (A) 0.3-4 wt.% at least one high mol.wt. acrylic acid homopolymer having a mol.wt. of 1000000-4000000 and/or a decaldiene-cross-linked methyl vinyl ether/maleic anhydride copolymer; (B) 10-50 wt.% at least one non-volatile polydimethylsiloxane; (C) 0.1-3 wt.% at least one non-ionic and/or anionic surfactant; and (D) 10-50 wt.% ethanol and/or isopropanol. The formulation itself is also claimed.
