Container docking device at a discharging bin for the pharmaceutical industry

The container (1) for dispensing the free flow material has its discharge port, on the underside of the container, protected by a clip fitting cover (4). This is removed by a vacuum grip (5) when the container is positioned over the filling funnel (3) in the sterile room. A cover (11) for the funnel is attached to the underside of the vacuum arm (12) and is removed when the container cover is removed. The container cover has a lipped edge and is clipped to a grooved profile (8) around the container discharge port. The cover are both removed and replaced by the single vacuum arm which is on a raise and tilt mounting. IMAGE
