PROCESS FOR DETECTING HIGH SPOT AT HOT ROLLING PLATE

摘要

The method detects the high spots caused by surface damages in the fininshing process of hot roll steel plate. The method makes a quality management possible via the online detection by calculating high spot numbers over predefined size or rule. The method comprises the steps of : detecting upper/lower peak points by receiving online data on plate thickness profile; detecting widths of the high spots at the peak points; detecting heights of the high spots by subtracting the average lower point value from the average upper point value; detecting positions of high spots.
