The apparatus is for freeze drying a large amount of material by use of a supersonic wave generator and a heated air blower. It comprises a drying inner vessel(16) positioned within a drying outer vessel(1); the supersonic wave generator(3); the heated air blower(8) connected to an upper part of a cooling vessel(5) and facing toward the center of a cooling pipe(22); a heated air valve(7) controlling the supply of the heated air into the cooling vessel(5).
